Searching by artist name in Liked Songs playlist is able to find liked synced local files by that artist. It doesnt work on Android phones as of the time of writing though.

Spotify search doesn't work iphone. Log out from your account in the settings drop-down options. I have tried to log out and in again. No worries if you want to save your time and make it more easy to get your song you can also try the Spotify voice search.
